Featuring songs, rhymes, and stories for children and their caregivers. LEGO at the Library MONDAYS 1:00—5:00 pm | July 9—July 30 | Kids' Corner (Main Branch) Come and create with our library LEGO. This is a self-directed program that is fun for all ages. Younger children must be accompanied by an adult. Small 'n TALL MONDAYS, WEDNESDAYS 10:00—11:00 am | July 4—August 8 | Community Meeting Room (Main Branch) *No program on August 6. Come and spend quality time with your child. Rhymes, songs, and fingerplays for newborns to 4-year-olds and their caregivers. Puppet Show with Mr. Oinks THURSDAYS 2:00—2:30 pm | July 5—August 9 | Kids' Corner (Main Branch) Join Mr. Oinks for songs, stories and lots of silly fun! All ages welcome to drop in for this program. Have fun with a mix of exciting activities! Play outdoor games INSIDE, learn how to hula hoop, go camping inside, have a beach party, enjoy a visit from the Helen Schuler Nature Centre, and build your own cardboard car and go to a "drive-in" movie! Reading Tent THURSDAYS 10:00—11:30 am | July 5—August 9 | Kids' Corner (Main Branch) Focus on literacy over the Summer months with the Frontier College Reading Tent. Aimed at all ages, the Reading Tent has physical and non-physical activities based on reading and writing. Possible activities include making your own recycled journal, literacy obstacle courses, and story writing. Select a free book to take home! Colouring at the Library TUESDAYS 10:00—11:00 am | July 3—August 7 | Kids Flex Space (Main Branch) Join us on Tuesday mornings and get creative with some colouring.
