GOAL #4 The Library's Value to the Community is Clearly Demonstrated The Library service model must meet the changing demands of the knowledge society while ensuring long-term sustainability through secure and stable funding for the future. Strategies: 1. Leverage synergies with other organizations for mutual benefit 2. Demonstrate our community value through inclusive marketing and advocacy 3. Strengthen value added services through supplementary funding sources, including grants and non-traditional revenue streams Objec ves: • Develop Operational Plan to carry out Plan of Service • Evaluate and report implementation of Plan of Service • Communicate partnership successes and advocate for the Library as a preferred partner • Develop marketing and library awareness campaigns • Enhance donor opportunities and seek out grants/alternative funding to support advanced and expanded services to increase capacity • Convert those who value the Library's strengths into new members Measures: • Plan of Service is carried out • Partnership reach is enhanced • Increased engagement via social media • Positive growth in library memberships • Increase in non-traditional revenue streams 14 P L A N O F S E R V I C E 2 0 1 7 / 2 0 2 1
