No experience required! Our expert DMs will teach you everything you need to know to play. Drop in for epic monthly adventures. Open to anyone in Grades 7–12. Feel Good Fridays November 29 & December 27 | 3–5 p.m. Main Branch (Teen Zone) Need a break? Want to feel better about your life? Drop by the Main Branch the last Friday afternoon of every month for tips on self-care and mental health. The experts from Community LINKS will be on hand with their best advice, and we'll have snacks, games, and art projects to help everyone relax. Open to anyone in Grades 7–12. Looking for a great volunteer position? Want to help direct the Library's future? Sign on as a member of our Teen Advisory Group! TAG helps the Teenbrarian create teen programs, build the teen collections, and group members also provide feedback on future Library projects. Commitment is one meeting a month during the school year, and a letter of recommendation with hours volunteered will be given to TAG members in June. Open to anyone in Grades 7–12. November 8 & December 6 | 3–4 p.m. The Crossings Branch (Richardson Board Room) Teen Writing Club November 15 & December 20 | 3–5 p.m. The Crossings Branch (Servus Credit Union Meeting & Study Area) Drop in for our monthly teen writing club and hone your skills! Working with our expert creative writing instructor, you'll learn through writing games and activities. We'll supply paper notebooks and pens, but if you prefer writing with a keyboard, you'll need to bring your own laptop or tablet. Open to anyone in Grades 7–12.
